Starting School / Admissions

Nursery

We have a Nursery which recently opened and we accept children from the child’s second birthday.  Children can start Nursery in September, January and April (Easter), depending on their age and spaces within the nursery class. This is our Nursery leaflet  which will give you further information about our Nursery.

We have places for 24 pupils in the Nursery class in both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Nursery admission forms (SA13 ) & Nursery Information can be collected from the office in the main school and returned to the school administrator. Sacred Heart School is responsible for allocating nursery places and decisions are made in accordance with the Nursery Admission Policy,  A place in Nursery does not guarantee a Reception Class place.

For children starting nursery class the class teacher and teaching assistant will make home/school visits.
